Fall at its peak!

The Lodge in Fall
The Lodge in Fall
I can’t believe we already are mid-October and the Fall foliage in North Conway is reaching its peak.
We had a very busy Columbus weekend! Lots of guest (we has a full house) coming from all over the World (Germany, France, Israel and Canada mostly) but also from Florida, California, New York, and of course Massachussetts!
The weather was beautiful yesterday, warm and sunny. Our guests enjoyed hiking Mt Washington under the blue sky and gentle wind ; others came back with wonderful pictures taken from their train ride in the White Mountains. I took some time to go for a walk with Blackie, our black labrador, on our trails right from our backyard. The fall foliage is definitely reaching it peak, but still showing beautiful colors… I let you judge of it:
Hiking trails in the Fall

        Kearsarge Cemetary

We took a stroll in the Kearsarge Cemetary, right at the top of the hill behind our backyard and the colors there were also very nice.

Vlad, one of our employees, took some time off to fish (for the last time of the season) in our pond and caught 3 trout!

We are now getting ready for Halloween and our Ghost and Goblin Trail before taking some time off in November!

Enjoy the last colors of Fall 2008!
