March Maple Madness

March 25-27, 2011 Join us for the 8th Annual March Maple Madness Hosted by the Bed & Breakfasts Inn Mt Washington Valley Which innkeeper has the best buns? You will be the judge! Stay with us and learn about Maple sugaring while touring 10 historic and unique Inns in the White Mountains, which front doors are uniquely decorated, offering ticket holders the opportunity to sample Maple treats both savory and sweet and to judge each inn's door decorations. Participants can learn about "sugaring" at Maple sugar houses and visit participating shops and vendors along the way. Should you feel a bit more daring, here is an opportunity to win prizes worth hundreds of dollars and a chance for some great fun. Gather points toward winning prizes as you travel a specific tour route guided by directions "riddled with clues". The March stretches around the Presidential Mountain Range, giving you an opportunity of sightseeing along the way. Bring along your camera for bonus photo ops! While visiting each participating Inn, find each inns' buns, seek answers to questions and gather objects and artifacts. The ticket holder who accomplishes every dictate on the Maple Madness March and scores the most points will win a prize valued at over $400, including a $200 certificate good toward a two night stay at any participating Bed & Breakfasts Inn Mt Washington Valley,  a supply of maple syrup, a dinner certificate for The Notchland Inn, a horse or carriage ride for two at The Farm By the River and a March Maple Madness basket filled with gifts contributed by the Inns and Maple Country Partners. The runner-up prize is valued at over $200, including a dinner certificate from The Notchland Inn, a Maple surprise and a March Maple Madness gift basket. The official panel of judges has dubious qualifications but their opinion will be final! For those who just want to relax and enjoy the spectacular country side in early Spring, take the opportunity of visiting historic inns, taste wonderful Maple recipes and bring them home, along with wonderful memories, without trying to decipher the clues, you can do so by just following the map provided in the March Maple Booklet! All tickets proceeds go towards the BBInn MWV Hospitality scholarship fund!
