Room 9 is on the third and last floor of the Main Lodge. It offers a queen size bed and 2 twin size beds, carpeted floor, ceiling fan, window A/C, cable TV/DVD, private shower bath with hair dryer, in-room phone, alarm clock, and nice views on our backyard and Kearsarge Brook. Slanted ceiling. Maximum occupancy: 4

JFK Jr stayed in this room over the weekend of March 15-16 1991. Here is what Judy Helfand, the innkeeper at that time, remembers: "At the time, we did not have private baths, ceiling fans, phones in the room, room televisions, AC, but he loved it. And remember he was very tall and room 9 has the slanted ceilings! We had 120 guestsd that weekend (in those days your rooms 19, 24 and 25 were the 40 bed bunkhouse), serving breakfasts and dinner. He visited with his fraternity brother, Richard Wiese. I was the only person that recognized him, that is why he liked the inn, he could relax.
